Dear Friends,
Assalam Alaikum and Ramadan Mubarak!
I hope this message finds you all in the best of health and faith (Iman). I pray that the Almighty blesses us all to take advantage of this month of mercy. On behalf of the Muslim Students' Organization I would like to welcome you all to a new year at Mizzou. Whether you are a returning student or a new student, I wish for your success in all your academic endeavours.
As we embark on a new year, I'd like remind you about the Muslim Students’ Organization and the role it can play in your life as a college student. The MSO is here to serve its members-Mizzou Muslims.
Whether you live on-campus or off and whether you are out of state or in, I encourage each one of you to become members and take advantage of the resources offered by the Organization. We need you to help us bring a sense of relevancy and direction to our social and religious programming. One of my main aims this semester is to make the MSO a member driven organization where students of all social, cultural, political and religious backgrounds meet to promote a healthy understanding of our faith. This aim cannot be complete without you.
To this end I ask you all to attend and actively participate in MSO events and discussions. I look forward to seeing you in the near future.
Best regards,
Taha Hameduddin
